Remembering Jason

Jason Gallelli, Founder & President of Gallelli Real Estate passed away suddenly in June of 2020. Together with his family, Jason founded GRE in 1995 where he took the lead in retail landlord and tenant representation, as well as asset management. There, he built his 28 year career, winning Overall Broker of the Year six times and Retail Broker of the Year ten times by the Association of Commercial Real Estate. His accrued knowledge over the years made him the most sought after retail broker in Northern California.

Jason was most notably recognized by his family, friends and colleagues as being a witty prankster with a huge heart. One of his favorite days of the year was April Fools. He was often caught pouring salt in someone’s water bottle or drawing tiny mustaches on people’s photos! He was an incredible storyteller with an ability to make everyone around him laugh. Jason was a great friend to many. He loved helping people, coaching his kids’ soccer teams and was incredibly generous within his community. When he wasn’t dominating the Commercial Real Estate world, he loved gardening in his beautiful yard, tending to his impressive fish tanks and vacationing in Canada with his family for an annual salmon fishing trip.

Jason’s family was his whole world. He spent his weekends with family, cooking, sipping fine wine and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
